Following 6 years of monthly columns and features on Internet Audio, in 2002 The FezGuys published the defacto standard resource on streaming audio with the book "Streaming Audio: The FezGuys' Guide" (New Riders Publishing).
Starting in 1998, Chime founder Jon Luini returned to working directly with artists, management, booking agencies, clubs and digital startups. Over the past decade, digital strategy has become the large focus, leading to production-specific projects including Web sites, mobile apps, video production, live streaming, social media management, and more.
Chime has always supported the nonprofit sector through pro bono and discounted services. We are now happy to announce the creation of the new Chime Nonprofit Communucations division, headed up by Sheila Schat, who has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management.

We are also pleased to announce that Chime President/Founder Jon Luini has accepted a position on the San Francisco Board of Little Kids Rock. Little Kids Rock is a fantastic organization that is restoring and revitalizing music education in U.S. public schools and currently services more than 65,000 students in over 700 schools. From 2010 to 2015, Jon was Co-organizer, Speaker Curator, and Producer of TEDxSantaCruz, which held four sold out full-day events as well as a handful of other events throughout Santa Cruz County. In 2016, Jon became Director of Digital Strategy for the esteemed EG Conference, celebrating it's 10th anniversary in 2016.
In 2015, Jon was part of the founding team for C3, The Content Creators Coalition and other non-profit organizations & trade groups that Jon served on the board are Popular Noise Foundation (non-profit SF/Bay Area music organization, 2000) and Bay Area Streaming Media Organization (BASMO) (open organization, 1999).
He has spoken and chaired panels at a variety of international conferences including Internet World (London), Mac World, Canada Music Week, North By Northwest, NARAS Music & Multimedia, Streaming Media West, Bandwidth Conference, Noisepop's Industry Noise, and SF Music Tech Summit.
